{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-20a-2-307","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 20A-2-307","heading":"County clerks' instructions to election judges.","body":"(1) Each county clerk shall instruct election judges to allow a voter to vote a regular ballot if:\n(a) the voter has moved from one address within a county to another address within the same county; and\n(b) the voter affirms the change of address orally or in writing before the election judges.\n(2) Each county clerk shall instruct election judges to allow an individual to vote a provisional ballot if:\n(a) the individual is not registered to vote, but is otherwise legally entitled to vote under Section 20A-2-207;\n(b) the voter's name does not appear on the official register; or\n(c) the voter is challenged as provided in Section 20A-3a-803.","path":["Title 20A Election Code","Chapter 20A-2 Voter Registration","Part 20A-2-3 Voter Registration Responsibilities"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title20A/Chapter2/20A-2-S307.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"0974afd5a8190b1a74ae8c8b4e47af4f5f0657c76d56b6daaf106a19f7860676","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-20a-2-304","next":"us-ut/utah-code-20a-2-401"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
