{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-20a-5a-210","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 20A-5a-210","heading":"Certification of county candidates for regular general election -- Ballot propositions.","body":"(1) A county clerk shall publish for the county, as a class A notice under Section 63G-30-102, for 30 calendar days, the notice described in Subsection (2):\n(a) no earlier than the first business day that is at least two calendar days after the day on which the lieutenant governor provides the notice described in Section 20A-5a-209 to the county clerk; and\n(b) no later than the second business day in September.\n(2) The notice required under Subsection (1):\n(a) shall include the portion of the notice, provided to the county clerk by the lieutenant governor under Section 20A-5a-209, relating to races in which a resident of the county may vote;\n(b) shall include all candidates who have qualified for placement on the regular general election ballot in the county for county office or local school board office;\n(c) shall, in accordance with Sections 20A-6-109 and 20A-6-110, include instructions on how the names of candidates will appear on the regular general election ballot; and\n(d) shall include information on local ballot propositions that have qualified for placement on the ballot.","path":["Title 20A Election Code","Chapter 20A-5a Election Notices","Part 20A-5a-2 Notices For Regular Election Year"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title20A/Chapter5a/20A-5a-S210.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"cc2e114a45cbc7a88edf85c2ca638d8084c93b11c7be84fa713a6a47b704c45d","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-20a-5a-209","next":"us-ut/utah-code-20a-5a-211"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
