{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-20a-7-202.7","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 20A-7-202.7","heading":"Posting initiative information.","body":"(1) Within one business day after the day on which the lieutenant governor receives the initial fiscal impact statement under Subsection 20A-7-202.5(3)(a), the lieutenant governor shall post the following information together in a conspicuous place on the lieutenant governor's website:\n(a) the initiative application;\n(b) the initiative petition;\n(c) the text of the proposed law;\n(d) the initial fiscal impact statement; and\n(e) information describing how an individual may remove the individual's signature from the initiative petition.\n(2) The lieutenant governor shall:\n(a) promptly update the information described in Subsection (1) if the information changes, including if the text of the proposed law is modified under Subsection 20A-7-204.1(5); and\n(b) maintain the information described in Subsection (1) on the lieutenant governor's website until the initiative fails to qualify for the ballot or is passed or defeated at an election.","path":["Title 20A Election Code","Chapter 20A-7 Issues Submitted to the Voters","Part 20A-7-2 Statewide Initiatives"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title20A/Chapter7/20A-7-S202.7.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"0fa6a3ca6a79ec07be8ae2dd1d7fb9acdd5b12517ef612eb2cbb83158ec375c4","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-20a-7-202.5","next":"us-ut/utah-code-20a-7-203"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
