{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-20a-7-502.6","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 20A-7-502.6","heading":"Posting initiative information.","body":"(1) Within one business day after the day on which the local clerk's office receives the initial fiscal impact and legal statement under Subsection 20A-7-502.5(4)(a), the local clerk shall post the following information together in a conspicuous place on the local clerk's website:\n(a) the initiative application;\n(b) the initiative petition;\n(c) the text of the proposed law;\n(d) the initial fiscal impact and legal statement; and\n(e) information describing how an individual may remove the individual's signature from the initiative petition.\n(2) The local clerk shall:\n(a) promptly update the information described in Subsection (1) if the information changes; and\n(b) maintain the information described in Subsection (1) on the local clerk's website until the initiative fails to qualify for the ballot or is passed or defeated at an election.","path":["Title 20A Election Code","Chapter 20A-7 Issues Submitted to the Voters","Part 20A-7-5 Local Initiatives - Procedures"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title20A/Chapter7/20A-7-S502.6.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"a3c4b560add2bf5a5d9cd09d27b610b82add0ed957c0ef8343f579105ad8da50","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-20a-7-502.5","next":"us-ut/utah-code-20a-7-502.7"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
