{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-20a-7-604.5","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 20A-7-604.5","heading":"Posting referendum information.","body":"(1) On the day on which the local clerk complies with Subsection 20A-7-604(3), or gives the sponsors access to the website defined in Section 20A-21-101, the local clerk shall post the following information together in a conspicuous place on the local clerk's website:\n(a) the referendum petition;\n(b) a copy of the law that is the subject of the referendum petition; and\n(c) information describing how an individual may remove the individual's signature from the referendum petition.\n(2) The local clerk shall:\n(a) promptly update the information described in Subsection (1) if the information changes; and\n(b) maintain the information described in Subsection (1) on the local clerk's website until the referendum fails to qualify for the ballot or is passed or defeated at an election.","path":["Title 20A Election Code","Chapter 20A-7 Issues Submitted to the Voters","Part 20A-7-6 Local Referenda - Procedures"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title20A/Chapter7/20A-7-S604.5.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"491b8e098f94cb0b87e7cf61b4e76d21e487c33f3651d0324e1684d2b84023eb","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-20a-7-604","next":"us-ut/utah-code-20a-7-607"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
