{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-23a-10-401","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 23A-10-401","heading":"Rulemaking authority.","body":"In accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act, the Wildlife Board may make rules that:\n(1) establish the procedures and requirements for decontaminating a conveyance or equipment to prevent the introduction and infestation of an invasive mussel;\n(2) establish the requirements necessary to provide proof that a conveyance or equipment is decontaminated;\n(3) establish the notification procedures required in Section 23A-10-303;\n(4) identify the geographic area, water body, facility, or water supply system that is infested by invasive mussels;\n(5) establish a procedure and protocol in cooperation with the Department of Transportation for stopping, inspecting, detaining, and decontaminating a conveyance or equipment at a port-of-entry in accordance with Section 23A-10-301; and\n(6) are necessary to administer and enforce this chapter.","path":["Title 23A Wildlife Resources Act","Chapter 23A-10 Aquatic Invasive Species Interdiction","Part 23A-10-4 Administration"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title23A/Chapter10/23A-10-S401.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"999c5050cadb1dd8bc91005f6757833eae4cebcb59a6021e1e2ebcbb69f18548","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-23a-10-306","next":"us-ut/utah-code-23a-10-501"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
