{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-23a-4-1109","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 23A-4-1109","heading":"Warrant outstanding or failure to comply with citation -- Person not entitled to license, permit, tag, or certificate.","body":"(1) A person may not purchase a license, permit, tag, or certificate of registration if:\n(a) there is an outstanding Utah warrant against the person for failure to appear in answer to a summons for a violation of:\n(i) this title; or\n(ii) a rule, proclamation, or order of the Wildlife Board; or\n(b) the person fails to comply with a wildlife citation in a state which is a party to the Wildlife Violator Compact set forth in Chapter 2, Part 5, Wildlife Violator Compact.\n(2) The division may allow a person referred to in Subsection (1) to purchase a license, permit, tag, or certificate of registration if satisfactory proof is given that:\n(a) the warrant is no longer outstanding; or\n(b) the person has complied with the wildlife citation.","path":["Title 23A Wildlife Resources Act","Chapter 23A-4 Licenses, Permits, Certificates of Registration, and Tags","Part 23A-4-11 Violations and Enforcement"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title23A/Chapter4/23A-4-S1109.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"5cacb7fa68b0cd07aaff2c323bdbc72495a96e2c6f0fa1754ff722786ca0adb1","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-23a-4-1108","next":"us-ut/utah-code-23a-4-1110"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
