{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-23a-7-206","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 23A-7-206","heading":"Compensation for damage -- Claims.","body":"(1) A landowner participating in a cooperative wildlife management unit who incurs damages caused by a hunter on the landowner's land may submit a claim and receive compensation for the claim from money received for cooperative wildlife management unit authorization or permit fees collected by the landowner association.\n(2) The claims under Subsection (1) shall:\n(a) be paid first and have priority over all other obligations of the landowner association;\n(b) be reviewed, investigated, and paid by the landowner association; and\n(c) not exceed annual revenues of a cooperative wildlife management unit.\n(3) A landowner participating in a cooperative wildlife management unit who incurs damages caused by a hunter on the landowner's land may not hold the state liable for compensation.","path":["Title 23A Wildlife Resources Act","Chapter 23A-7 Cooperative Wildlife Management Units","Part 23A-7-2 Requirements"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title23A/Chapter7/23A-7-S206.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"66bb6ed51220ba48a4fef3e2509378bb4b4c4f13c5051c09f8912995827132c9","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-23a-7-205","next":"us-ut/utah-code-23a-7-207"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
