{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-26b-1-209","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 26B-1-209","heading":"Fee schedule adopted by department.","body":"(1) The department may adopt a schedule of fees that may be assessed for services rendered by the department, provided that the fees are:\n(a) reasonable and fair; and\n(b) submitted to the Legislature as part of the department's annual appropriations request.\n(2) When the department submits a fee schedule to the Legislature, the Legislature, in accordance with Section 63J-1-504, may:\n(a) approve the fee;\n(b) increase or decrease and approve the fee; or\n(c) reject any fee submitted to it.\n(3) Fees approved by the Legislature under this section shall be paid into the state treasury.","path":["Title 26B Utah Health and Human Services Code","Chapter 26B-1 Department of Health and Human Services","Part 26B-1-2 Department of Health and Human Services"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title26B/Chapter1/26B-1-S209.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"70cf373e50e1419ecbb49ba49c9bb35005cde16dcd7bf16f2341ac52025cb3fd","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-26b-1-208","next":"us-ut/utah-code-26b-1-210"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
