{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-26b-1-334","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 26B-1-334","heading":"Licensed Provider Assessment Fund -- Creation -- Deposits -- Uses.","body":"(1) There is created an expendable special revenue fund known as the \"Licensed Provider Assessment Fund\" consisting of:\n(a) the assessments collected under, and any interest and penalties levied with the administration of:\n(i) Chapter 2, Part 2, Health Care Facility Licensing and Inspection, except assessments that comprise the Licensed Provider Civil Money Penalty Fund pursuant to Section 26B-1-336;\n(ii) Chapter 2, Part 1, Human Services Programs and Facilities; and\n(iii) Chapter 2, Part 4, Child Care Licensing;\n(b) money appropriated or otherwise made available by the Legislature; and\n(c) any interest earned on the fund.\n(2) Money in the fund may only be used by the department:\n(a) for upgrades to and maintenance of licensing databases and applications;\n(b) for training for providers and staff;\n(c) to assist individuals during a facility shutdown; or\n(d) for administrative expenses, if the administrative expenses for the fiscal year do not exceed 3% of the money deposited into the fund during the fiscal year.","path":["Title 26B Utah Health and Human Services Code","Chapter 26B-1 Department of Health and Human Services","Part 26B-1-3 Funds and Accounts"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title26B/Chapter1/26B-1-S334.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"827e6790fdaddf356e9301c9891f33a0d0af0f36aedeca8de5de254091ac02ac","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-26b-1-332","next":"us-ut/utah-code-26b-1-335"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
