{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-26b-2-136","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 26B-2-136","heading":"Drug test result disclosure requirements for substance abuse treatment programs.","body":"(1) As used in this section, \"eligible supervision employee\" means:\n(a) a participant's supervising probation or parole officer; or\n(b) treatment staff employed by or working under a contract with the Department of Corrections.\n(2) A substance abuse treatment program shall provide the results of a drug test for a participant in the substance abuse treatment program who is on probation or parole to an eligible supervision employee if:\n(a) an eligible supervision employee requests the drug test results; and\n(b) the participant has signed a waiver, in compliance with federal health information disclosure laws, that allows the substance abuse treatment program to share information regarding the participant's drug test results with an eligible supervision employee.","path":["Title 26B Utah Health and Human Services Code","Chapter 26B-2 Licensing and Certifications","Part 26B-2-1 Human Services Programs and Facilities"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title26B/Chapter2/26B-2-S136.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"9c0057e110c3c290efb26d52d2c2aee54c47e948a5edaca5648e510b8ce8e30a","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-26b-2-135","next":"us-ut/utah-code-26b-2-201"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
