{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-26b-3-131","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 26B-3-131","heading":"Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment Medicaid reimbursement.","body":"(1) As used in this section:\n(a) \"Controlled substance prescriber\" means a controlled substance prescriber, as that term is defined in Section 58-37-303, who:\n(i) has a record of having completed SBIRT training, in accordance with Subsection 58-37-303(2), before providing the SBIRT services; and\n(ii) is a Medicaid enrolled health care provider.\n(b) \"SBIRT\" means the same as that term is defined in Section 58-37-303.\n(2) The department shall reimburse a controlled substance prescriber who provides SBIRT services to a Medicaid enrollee who is 13 years old or older for the SBIRT services.","path":["Title 26B Utah Health and Human Services Code","Chapter 26B-3 Health Care - Administration and Assistance","Part 26B-3-1 Health Care Assistance"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title26B/Chapter3/26B-3-S131.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"61f9a6b2e8fbca97f6b26f6f34c200761c216a05ac29261bde10ffe161a6481c","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-26b-3-130","next":"us-ut/utah-code-26b-3-132"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
