{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-26b-3-205","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 26B-3-205","heading":"Long-term care insurance partnership.","body":"(1) As used in this section:\n(a) \"Qualified long-term care insurance contract\" is as defined in 26 U.S.C. Sec. 7702B(b).\n(b) \"Qualified long-term care insurance partnership\" is as defined in 42 U.S.C. Sec. 1396p(b)(1)(C)(iii).\n(c) \"State plan amendment\" means an amendment to the state Medicaid plan drafted by the department in compliance with this section.\n(2) The department shall seek federal approval of a state plan amendment that creates a qualified long-term care insurance partnership.\n(3) The department may make rules to comply with federal laws and regulations relating to qualified long-term care insurance partnerships and qualified long-term care insurance contracts.","path":["Title 26B Utah Health and Human Services Code","Chapter 26B-3 Health Care - Administration and Assistance","Part 26B-3-2 Medicaid Waivers"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title26B/Chapter3/26B-3-S205.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"d8441dc79904c664d3edf524f67c58fb5fe86fa68f51b312b8c54160fad804d1","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-26b-3-204","next":"us-ut/utah-code-26b-3-206"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
