{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-26b-3-605","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 26B-3-605","heading":"Hospital share.","body":"(1) The hospital share is 100% of the state's net cost of Medicaid expansion, after deducting appropriate offsets and savings as a result of implementing Medicaid expansion, including:\n(a) savings from:\n(i) the Medicaid program's former Primary Care Network program;\n(ii) the health coverage improvement program;\n(iii) the state portion of inpatient prison medical coverage;\n(iv) behavioral health coverage; and\n(v) county contributions to the non-federal share of Medicaid expenditures; and\n(b) any funds appropriated to the Medicaid ACA Fund.\n(2)\n(a) The hospital share is capped at no more than $15,000,000 annually.\n(b) The division shall prorate the cap specified in Subsection (2)(a) in any year in which Medicaid expansion is not in effect for the full fiscal year.","path":["Title 26B Utah Health and Human Services Code","Chapter 26B-3 Health Care - Administration and Assistance","Part 26B-3-6 Medicaid Expansion Hospital Assessment"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title26B/Chapter3/26B-3-S605.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"2c460aca53bd57aa66c72781cc8ad52cd3844102193c64941e4713ca5f2e3ed2","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-26b-3-604","next":"us-ut/utah-code-26b-3-606"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
