{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-26b-4-323","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 26B-4-323","heading":"Reporting results of a test for hearing loss.","body":"(1) As used in this section, \"health care provider\" means the same as that term is defined in Section 78B-3-403.\n(2) Except as provided in Subsection (3), a health care provider shall report results of a test for hearing loss to the Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind if:\n(a) the results suggest that additional diagnostic procedures or medical interventions are necessary; and\n(b) the individual tested for hearing loss is under the age of 22.\n(3) A health care provider may not make the report of an individual's results described in Subsection (2) if the health care provider receives a request to not make the report from:\n(a) the individual, if the individual is not a minor; or\n(b) the individual's parent or guardian, if the individual is a minor.","path":["Title 26B Utah Health and Human Services Code","Chapter 26B-4 Health Care - Delivery and Access","Part 26B-4-3 Health Care Access"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title26B/Chapter4/26B-4-S323.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"75725b2f536a731d62b1626e49601c9737ffb1ae757cbb5a4f7628a815d6a9fb","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-26b-4-321","next":"us-ut/utah-code-26b-4-324"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
