{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-26b-7-504","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 26B-7-504","heading":"Gathering of information related to cigarettes and tobacco products.","body":"(1) The department shall obtain annually publicly available information regarding cigarettes and tobacco products from other states and sources concerning:\n(a) the presence of the following substances in detectable levels in a burned state and, if the cigarette or tobacco product is typically burned when consumed, in a burned state:\n(i) ammonia or ammonia compounds;\n(ii) arsenic;\n(iii) cadmium;\n(iv) formaldehyde; and\n(v) lead; and\n(b) a nicotine yield rating for the cigarette or tobacco product for which a rating has been developed.\n(2) Information obtained by the department under Subsection (1) is a public record and may be disclosed in accordance with Section 63G-2-201 and disseminated generally by the department.","path":["Title 26B Utah Health and Human Services Code","Chapter 26B-7 Public Health and Prevention","Part 26B-7-5 Regulation of Smoking, Tobacco Products, and Nicotine Products"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title26B/Chapter7/26B-7-S504.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"3897e20b723b74a80b59a0ff2b23111e2b710f969ad453b71e306084e945809a","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-26b-7-503","next":"us-ut/utah-code-26b-7-505"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
