{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-3-1-30","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 3-1-30","heading":"Authorization for merger or consolidation with other associations or corporations -- Laws governing surviving or new corporation.","body":"(1) Pursuant to a plan approved under this chapter, an agricultural cooperative association may merge or consolidate with:\n(a) one or more agricultural cooperative associations;\n(b) one or more domestic corporations governed by:\n(i) Title 16, Chapter 10a, Utah Revised Business Corporation Act; or\n(ii) Title 16, Chapter 6a, Utah Revised Nonprofit Corporation Act; or\n(c) any combination of associations or corporations referred to in Subsection (1)(a) or (b).\n(2) The surviving or new corporation shall be governed by:\n(a) the Uniform Agricultural Cooperative Association Act; or\n(b) Title 16, Chapter 6a, Utah Revised Nonprofit Corporation Act.","path":["Title 3 Uniform Agricultural Cooperative Association Act","Chapter 3-1 General Provisions Relating to Agricultural Cooperative Associations"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title3/Chapter1/3-1-S30.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"04fc649caaaaadb7c682c7af66a892c07c6bbacedde245a8778b4614757ad1f3","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-3-1-29","next":"us-ut/utah-code-3-1-31"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
