{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-31a-19a-407","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 31A-19a-407","heading":"Cooperation among rating organizations and insurers","body":"(1) Notwithstanding Section 31A-19a-305, rate service organizations and insurers may cooperate with each other in rate-making or in other matters within the scope of this part.\n(2)\n(a) The commissioner may review the cooperative activities and practices permitted under Subsection (1).\n(b) If, after a hearing, the commissioner finds any of the cooperative activities or practices permitted under Subsection (1) to be unfair, unreasonable, or otherwise inconsistent with the law, the commissioner may issue an order:\n(i) specifying in what respects the activity or practice is unfair, unreasonable, or otherwise inconsistent with the law; and\n(ii) requiring the persons or entities involved to discontinue the activity or practice.","path":["Title 31A Insurance Code","Chapter 31A-19a Utah Rate Regulation Act","Part 31A-19a-4 Workers' Compensation Rates"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title31A/Chapter19a/31A-19a-S407.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"314ae779b6b51132b65d533e3727241295028a437957b953a69680eb3e897a74","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-31a-19a-406","next":"us-ut/utah-code-31a-19a-408"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
