{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-31a-21-404","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 31A-21-404","heading":"Out-of-state insurers.","body":"Notwithstanding Subsection 31A-1-103(3)(h), an insurer extending mass marketed life or accident and health insurance under a group insurance policy issued outside of this state to residents of this state or a blanket insurance policy issued outside of this state to residents of this state shall, with respect to the mass marketed life or accident and health insurance policy:\n(1) comply with:\n(a) Sections 31A-23a-402, 31A-23a-402.5, and 31A-23a-403; and\n(b) Chapter 26, Part 3, Claim Practices; and\n(2) upon the commissioner's request, deliver to the commissioner a copy of:\n(a) any mass marketed life or accident and health insurance policy;\n(b) a certificate issued under a mass marketed life or accident and health insurance policy;\n(c) an application for a mass marketed life or accident and health insurance policy;\n(d) an enrollment form for a mass marketed life or accident and health insurance policy; and\n(e) advertising material used in this state in connection with a mass marketed life or accident and health insurance policy.","path":["Title 31A Insurance Code","Chapter 31A-21 Insurance Contracts in General","Part 31A-21-4 Mass Marketed Life or Accident and Health Insurance"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title31A/Chapter21/31A-21-S404.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"91e0829a7127b4f80642f49dd9210c4b4b18d9365175510529b6d9e442374bc0","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-31a-21-403","next":"us-ut/utah-code-31a-21-501"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
