{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-31a-22-1503","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 31A-22-1503","heading":"Motorboat liability policy minimum limits.","body":"Policies containing motorboat liability coverage may not limit the insurer's liability under that coverage below the following:\n(1)\n(a) $25,000 because of liability for bodily injury to or death of one person, arising out of the use of a motorboat in any one accident;\n(b) subject to the limit for one person in Subsection (1)(a), in the amount of $50,000 because of liability for bodily injury to or death of two or more persons arising out of the use of a motorboat in any one accident; and\n(c) in the amount of $15,000 because of liability for injury to, or destruction of, property of others arising out of the use of a motorboat in any one accident; or\n(2) $65,000 in any one accident whether arising from bodily injury to or the death of others, or from destruction of, or damage to, the property of others.","path":["Title 31A Insurance Code","Chapter 31A-22 Contracts in Specific Lines","Part 31A-22-15 Liability Insurance for Motorboats"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title31A/Chapter22/31A-22-S1503.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"741a890a7407f5e77f19dccafbfeb2d1b026ac4d1fca44deb4c5c17ace1f524e","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-31a-22-1502","next":"us-ut/utah-code-31a-22-1504"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
