{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-31a-23a-910","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 31A-23a-910","heading":"Travel administrators.","body":"(1) A person may not act as or represent that the person is a travel administrator for travel insurance unless the person:\n(a) is an insurance producer acting within the scope of the producer's license;\n(b) is licensed as a managing general agent in accordance with Part 6, Managing General Agents; or\n(c) is licensed as a third party administrator in accordance with Chapter 25, Third Party Administrators.\n(2) An insurer is responsible for:\n(a) an act of a travel administrator administering travel insurance the insurer underwrites; and\n(b) ensuring that the travel administrator maintains all books and records relevant to the insurer.\n(3) A travel administrator shall make the books and records described in Subsection (2)(b) available to the commissioner upon the commissioner's request.","path":["Title 31A Insurance Code","Chapter 31A-23a Insurance Marketing - Licensing Producers, Consultants, and Reinsurance Intermediaries","Part 31A-23a-9 Travel Insurance Act"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title31A/Chapter23a/31A-23a-S910.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"28ec501922603e4d2f27f4843e7cec9b2b5cc715d994f685565d1cc620495238","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-31a-23a-909","next":"us-ut/utah-code-31a-23a-911"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
