{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-31a-25-210","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 31A-25-210","heading":"License lapse and voluntary surrender.","body":"(1)\n(a) A license issued under this chapter shall lapse if the licensee fails to:\n(i) pay when due a fee under Section 31A-3-103;\n(ii) submit a completed renewal application as required by Section 31A-25-202;\n(iii) produce, when due, evidence of compliance with the financial responsibility requirement under Section 31A-25-205; or\n(iv) maintain an active license in a resident state if the licensee is a nonresident licensee.\n(b)\n(i) A licensee whose license lapses due to the following may request an action described in Subsection (1)(b)(ii):\n(A) military service;\n(B) voluntary service for a period of time designated by the person for whom the licensee provides voluntary service; or\n(C) some other extenuating circumstances, such as long-term medical disability.\n(ii) A licensee described in Subsection (1)(b)(i) may request:\n(A) reinstatement of the license no later than one year from the day on which the license lapses; and\n(B) waiver of any of the following imposed for failure to comply with renewal procedures:\n(I) an examination requirement;\n(II) reinstatement fees set under Section 31A-3-103; or\n(III) other sanction imposed for failure to comply with renewal procedures.\n(2) If a license issued under this chapter is voluntarily surrendered, the license may be reinstated:\n(a) during the license period in which the license is voluntarily surrendered; and\n(b) no later than one year after the day on which the license is voluntarily surrendered.","path":["Title 31A Insurance Code","Chapter 31A-25 Third Party Administrators","Part 31A-25-2 Licensing of Third Party Administrators"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title31A/Chapter25/31A-25-S210.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"dd7c0b672f265b92b024473a6d64d8416e9818f28480f2566ef12310eeca9108","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-31a-25-209","next":"us-ut/utah-code-31a-25-301"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
