{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-31a-4-113","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 31A-4-113","heading":"Annual and quarterly statements.","body":"(1)\n(a) Each authorized insurer shall annually, on or before March 1, file with the commissioner and the NAIC a true statement of the authorized insurer's financial condition, transactions, and affairs as of December 31 of the preceding year.\n(b) The statement required by Subsection (1)(a) shall be:\n(i) verified by the oaths of at least two of the insurer's principal officers; and\n(ii) in the general form and provide the information as prescribed by the commissioner by rule.\n(2)\n(a) Each authorized insurer shall file with the commissioner and the NAIC a true statement of the insurer's financial condition, transactions, and affairs within 45 days after the close of the first, second, and third quarters of a calendar year.\n(b) A statement required by this Subsection (2) shall be:\n(i) verified by the oath of at least two of the insurer's principal officers; and\n(ii) in the general form and provide the information the commissioner requires by rule.\n(3) The annual statement of an alien insurer shall:\n(a) relate only to the alien insurer's transactions and affairs in the United States unless the commissioner requires otherwise; and\n(b) be verified by:\n(i) the insurer's United States manager; or\n(ii) the insurer's authorized officers.\n(4) The commissioner may, for good cause shown, extend the date for filing a statement required by this section.","path":["Title 31A Insurance Code","Chapter 31A-4 Insurers in General"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title31A/Chapter4/31A-4-S113.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"ab97cc7fdeeab65cf1e91699a5cceaf58ddc4db5f05494939f771667c2ab62cf","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-31a-4-112","next":"us-ut/utah-code-31a-4-113.5"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
