{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-31a-6b-202","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 31A-6b-202","heading":"Registration process -- Annual fee.","body":"(1) If a person is required to register under Section 31A-6b-201, to register the person shall submit to the commissioner:\n(a) an application for registration;\n(b) a copy of any guaranteed asset protection waiver that the person will issue, market, sell, offer to sell, or otherwise provide in this state; and\n(c) a registration fee established by the commissioner in accordance with Section 31A-3-103, except that the registration fee may not exceed $1,000.\n(2)\n(a) On and after July 1, 2011, a person registered under this title shall pay to the commissioner an annual fee:\n(i) by no later than July 1 of each year after the day on which the person registers; and\n(ii) established by the commissioner in accordance with Section 31A-3-103, except that the annual fee may not exceed $1,000.\n(b) If a person fails to pay the annual fee required under this Subsection (2) by October 1, the person's registration expires.\n(3) The commissioner shall deposit a fee collected under this section into the restricted account.","path":["Title 31A Insurance Code","Chapter 31A-6b Guaranteed Asset Protection Waiver Act","Part 31A-6b-2 Waiver Provider Licensing and Registration"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title31A/Chapter6b/31A-6b-S202.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"396aed197867be408bd6b8ead9b442e244ee9f88bad3fd755083cbf15a20dec4","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-31a-6b-201","next":"us-ut/utah-code-31a-6b-203"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
