{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-31a-8a-202","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 31A-8a-202","heading":"Commissioner to issue license -- Renewals.","body":"(1) The commissioner may issue a license to a person:\n(a) who files an application and pays the fee in accordance with Section 31A-8a-201; and\n(b) who the commissioner determines is in compliance with this chapter.\n(2)\n(a) A license issued under this chapter is valid until the immediately following December 31 and may be renewed in accordance with Subsection (2)(b).\n(b) A license may be renewed if:\n(i) the commissioner finds that the person operating the health discount program is in compliance with this chapter;\n(ii) the health discount program operator or health discount program marketer submits the appropriate renewal application and pays any applicable fees for renewal; and\n(iii) the health discount program certifies that the information in the application for renewal is accurate.","path":["Title 31A Insurance Code","Chapter 31A-8a Health Discount Program Consumer Protection Act","Part 31A-8a-2 Licensure"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title31A/Chapter8a/31A-8a-S202.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"d5883e8216ad432650f4221610d0fc7fedb415859540c46793d99904b39957dc","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-31a-8a-201","next":"us-ut/utah-code-31a-8a-202.5"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
