{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-32b-1-403","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 32B-1-403","heading":"Unlawful transfer or use of proof of age -- False information.","body":"(1)\n(a) It is unlawful for a person to transfer that person's proof of age to another person to aid that person:\n(i) in procuring an alcoholic product;\n(ii) in gaining admittance to a restricted area; or\n(iii) in obtaining employment that under this title may not be obtained by a minor.\n(b) A person who permits that person's proof of age to be used by another for a purpose stated in Subsection (1)(a) is guilty of a class B misdemeanor.\n(2)\n(a) It is unlawful for a person to use a proof of age containing false information with the intent to:\n(i) procure an alcoholic product;\n(ii) gain admittance to a restricted area; or\n(iii) obtain employment that under this title may not be obtained by a minor.\n(b) Except as provided in Section 32B-4-411, a person who violates this Subsection (2) is guilty of a class A misdemeanor.","path":["Title 32B Alcoholic Beverage Control Act","Chapter 32B-1 Alcoholic Beverage Control General Provisions","Part 32B-1-4 Proof of Age Act"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title32B/Chapter1/32B-1-S403.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"b024fe7f602312af5f608bbcc345bc9f7e7cd851c2034c2ab576be36cc2dea22","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-32b-1-402","next":"us-ut/utah-code-32b-1-404"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
