{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-32b-1-702","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 32B-1-702","heading":"Alcohol training and education -- Revocation, suspension, or nonrenewal of retail license.","body":"(1) The commission may suspend, revoke, or not renew a license of a retail licensee if any of the following individuals fail to complete an alcohol training and education seminar:\n(a) a retail manager; or\n(b) retail staff.\n(2) A city, town, or county in which a retail licensee conducts business may suspend, revoke, or not renew the business license of the retail licensee if a retail manager or retail staff fails to complete an alcohol training and education seminar.\n(3) A local authority that issues an off-premise beer retailer license to a business that is engaged in the retail sale of beer for consumption off the beer retailer's premises may immediately suspend the off-premise beer retailer license if any of the following individuals fails to complete an alcohol training and education seminar:\n(a) an off-premise retail manager; or\n(b) off-premise retail staff.","path":["Title 32B Alcoholic Beverage Control Act","Chapter 32B-1 Alcoholic Beverage Control General Provisions","Part 32B-1-7 Alcohol Training and Education Act"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title32B/Chapter1/32B-1-S702.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"c46d5c12cd958b64e3666b430b0fb0c8fed7ea2c08ab38cd5b4afe5e3380a2b9","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-32b-1-701","next":"us-ut/utah-code-32b-1-703"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
