{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-32b-17-205","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 32B-17-205","heading":"Commission and department duties before issuing liquor transport license.","body":"(1)\n(a) Before the commission may issue a liquor transport license, the department shall conduct an investigation and may hold public hearings to gather information and make recommendations to the commission as to whether a liquor transport license should be issued.\n(b) The department shall forward the information and recommendations described in Subsection (1)(a) to the commission to aid in the commission's determination.\n(2) Before issuing a liquor transport license, the commission shall:\n(a) determine that the person filed a complete application that complies with Sections 32B-17-202 and 32B-17-204;\n(b) determine that the person is not disqualified under Section 32B-1-304;\n(c) consider the person's ability to manage and operate a liquor transport operation, including:\n(i) management experience;\n(ii) past related experience; and\n(iii) the means the person intends to use to deliver liquor to retail licensees; and\n(d) consider any other factor that the commission considers necessary.","path":["Title 32B Alcoholic Beverage Control Act","Chapter 32B-17 Liquor Transport License Act","Part 32B-17-2 Liquor Transport License Process"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title32B/Chapter17/32B-17-S205.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"7934998a5be7257705eb4df45a4d24d944d533a3b0d54d87db938aca70888a77","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-32b-17-204","next":"us-ut/utah-code-32b-17-206"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
