{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-32b-6-205.4","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 32B-6-205.4","heading":"Small full-service restaurant licensee -- Exemption.","body":"(1) Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 32B-6-205.2 and subject to Subsection (2), a minor may sit, remain, or consume food or beverages in the dispensing area of a small full-service restaurant licensee if:\n(a) seating in the dispensing area is the only seating available for patrons on the licensed premises;\n(b) the minor is accompanied by an individual who is 21 years old or older; and\n(c) the small full-service restaurant licensee applies for and obtains approval from the department to seat minors in the dispensing area in accordance with this section.\n(2) A minor may not sit, remain, or consume food or beverages at a dispensing structure.\n(3) The department shall:\n(a) grant an approval described in Subsection (1)(c) if the small full-service restaurant licensee demonstrates that the small full-service restaurant licensee meets the requirements described in Subsection 32B-6-202(3); and\n(b) for each application described in Subsection (1)(c) that the department receives on or before May 8, 2018, act on the application on or before July 1, 2018.","path":["Title 32B Alcoholic Beverage Control Act","Chapter 32B-6 Specific Retail License Act","Part 32B-6-2 Full-Service Restaurant License"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title32B/Chapter6/32B-6-S205.4.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"3fb292a648871b000a7ffcda3bc5be1c03d531ae1f63dbf5cfda7cfdcc423b09","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-32b-6-205.2","next":"us-ut/utah-code-32b-6-206"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
