{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-32b-7-409","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 32B-7-409","heading":"Multiple licenses on same premises.","body":"(1) Except as provided in Subsection (2), the commission may not issue and one or more licensees may not hold an off-premise beer retailer state license for the same licensed premises or adjacent licensed premises as a retail licensee, unless the licensed premises:\n(a) are separated by a permanent, opaque, floor-to-ceiling wall;\n(b) each have a separate entrance to the licensed premises; and\n(c) each have separate restroom facilities on the licensed premises.\n(2)\n(a) The commission may issue and an off-premise beer retailer state licensee may hold more than one type of license for the same licensed premises or adjacent licensed premises, if:\n(i) a manufacturing licensee is located on or adjacent to the licensed premises; and\n(ii) a package agency is located on or adjacent to the licensed premises.\n(b) Notwithstanding Subsection (1), the commission may issue an off-premise beer retailer state license to a hotel or resort.","path":["Title 32B Alcoholic Beverage Control Act","Chapter 32B-7 Off-Premise Beer Retailer Act","Part 32B-7-4 Off-premise Beer Retailer State License"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title32B/Chapter7/32B-7-S409.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"29e433c92bcdeea516070b1865aba028657fd37f8aeb0e997d4be835a2fbed81","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-32b-7-408","next":"us-ut/utah-code-32b-8-101"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
