{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-32b-8d-202","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 32B-8d-202","heading":"Commission's power to issue a spa sublicense.","body":"(1) Before a person may store, sell, offer for sale, furnish, or allow the consumption of an alcoholic product on the person's premises as a spa sublicensee, a resort licensee, a hotel licensee, or a person applying for a resort license or a hotel license shall first obtain a spa sublicense from the commission in accordance with this part.\n(2) The commission may only issue a spa sublicense to:\n(a) a resort licensee;\n(b) a hotel licensee;\n(c) a person applying for a resort license, contingent on the issuance of the resort license; or\n(d) a person applying for a hotel license, contingent on the issuance of the hotel license.\n(3) A spa sublicense premises shall fall entirely within the:\n(a) boundary of a resort building that is part of the resort to which the spa sublicense is connected; or\n(b) boundary of a hotel that is part of the hotel to which the spa sublicense is connected.","path":["Title 32B Alcoholic Beverage Control Act","Chapter 32B-8d Sublicense Act","Part 32B-8d-2 Resort Spa Sublicense"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title32B/Chapter8d/32B-8d-S202.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"4777ebd95b7af7c14e8d7a7bd346c57b552cd0213742d3995dfcf3cafd8087f9","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-32b-8d-201","next":"us-ut/utah-code-32b-8d-203"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
