{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-32b-9-203","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 32B-9-203","heading":"Bond for event permit.","body":"(1)\n(a) A person applying for an event permit shall post a surety bond:\n(i) in the amount specified in this chapter for the type of event permit for which the person is applying; and\n(ii) payable to the department.\n(b) An event permittee shall procure and maintain a bond required under this section for as long as the event permit is in effect.\n(2) A bond posted by an event permittee under this section shall be:\n(a) in a form approved by the attorney general; and\n(b) conditioned upon the event permittee's faithful compliance with this title and the rules of the commission.\n(3) No part of a bond posted by an event permittee under this section may be withdrawn during the period the event permit is in effect.\n(4)\n(a) A bond posted by an event permittee under this section may be forfeited if the event permit is revoked.\n(b) Notwithstanding Subsection (4)(a), the department may make a claim against a bond posted by an event permittee for money owed the department under this title without the commission first revoking the event permit.","path":["Title 32B Alcoholic Beverage Control Act","Chapter 32B-9 Event Permit Act","Part 32B-9-2 Event Permitting General Provisions"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title32B/Chapter9/32B-9-S203.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"7c5502b7d47064aff9c4003341f9c855e3b11a5c1ab69a27b603d62ff699ca90","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-32b-9-202","next":"us-ut/utah-code-32b-9-204"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
