{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-34-29-10","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 34-29-10","heading":"Schedule of fees -- Fee limitations.","body":"(1)\n(a) A private employment agency shall maintain a schedule of fees to be charged and collected in the conduct of its business.\n(b) A private employment agency shall post the schedule described in Subsection (1)(a) in a conspicuous place in the private employment agency.\n(c) A private employment agency may change the schedule described in Subsection (1)(a), but a change is not effective until the amended schedule is posted in accordance with Subsection (1)(b).\n(2) A private employment agency may not charge or collect a fee that is greater than:\n(a) the fee on the schedule of fees in effect at the time the contract for employment is issued; or\n(b) 25% of the amount actually earned in the employment during the first 30 days, if the employment ends during the 30-day period.","path":["Title 34 Labor in General","Chapter 34-29 Employment Agencies"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title34/Chapter29/34-29-S10.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"7d908dfa84638bcd1f71af206eb32da8aeeba6f84bf6e7c44d3a4f3f949a1acc","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-34-29-9","next":"us-ut/utah-code-34-29-11"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
