{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-35a-5-202","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 35A-5-202","heading":"Contracts with providers.","body":"(1) In compliance with Title 63G, Chapter 6a, Utah Procurement Code, the department shall enter into a contract with one or more qualified providers to implement the state workforce services plan described in Section 35A-1-207.\n(2) A contract entered into under this section:\n(a) shall be performance based; and\n(b) may be structured so that the provider receives reimbursement based on:\n(i) job development;\n(ii) participant placement in jobs;\n(iii) wages and benefits provided; and\n(iv) participant retention in jobs over at least a 12-month period.\n(3) If the department determines through the procurement process that there are no qualified providers to implement the state workforce services plan, the department may implement the plan.","path":["Title 35A Utah Workforce Services Code","Chapter 35A-5 Training and Workforce Improvement Act","Part 35A-5-2 Workforce Improvement"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title35A/Chapter5/35A-5-S202.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"0bdf38de44a05fce6f9cd146a2082198bb2bcadf581b175b7612fa2e3b428257","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-35a-5-103","next":"us-ut/utah-code-35a-5-301"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
