{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-4-17-108","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 4-17-108","heading":"Weed control supervisor -- Qualification -- Appointment -- Duties.","body":"(1)\n(a) Each commission may employ one or more weed control supervisors qualified to:\n(i) detect and treat noxious weeds; and\n(ii) direct the weed control program for the county weed control board.\n(b) A person may be a weed control supervisor for more than one county weed control board.\n(c) Terms and conditions of employment shall be prescribed by the commission.\n(2) A supervisor, under the direction of the local county weed control board, shall:\n(a) examine all land under the jurisdiction of the county weed control board to determine whether this chapter and the rules adopted by the department have been met;\n(b) compile data on infested areas;\n(c) consult and advise upon matters pertaining to the best and most practical method of noxious weed control and prevention;\n(d) render assistance and direction for the most effective control and prevention;\n(e) investigate violations of this chapter;\n(f) enforce noxious weed controls within the county; and\n(g) perform any other duties required by the county weed control board.","path":["Title 4 Utah Agricultural Code","Chapter 4-17 Utah Noxious Weed Act"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title4/Chapter17/4-17-S108.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"aacf022db6bcde878ba2bf3362c9034866afd0da6bd85a221973f9c5ef554fb7","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-4-17-107","next":"us-ut/utah-code-4-17-109"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
