{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-4-21-106","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 4-21-106","heading":"Exemption from certain operational requirements.","body":"(1) The council is exempt from:\n(a) Title 51, Chapter 5, Funds Consolidation Act;\n(b) Title 63A, Utah Government Operations Code;\n(c) Title 63G, Chapter 6a, Utah Procurement Code, but the council shall adopt procedures to ensure that the council makes purchases:\n(i) in a manner that provides for fair competition between providers; and\n(ii) at competitive prices;\n(d) Title 63J, Chapter 1, Budgetary Procedures Act; and\n(e) Title 63A, Chapter 17, Utah State Personnel Management Act.\n(2) The council is subject to:\n(a) Title 51, Chapter 7, State Money Management Act;\n(b) Title 52, Chapter 4, Open and Public Meetings Act;\n(c) Section 67-3-12;\n(d) Title 63G, Chapter 2, Government Records Access and Management Act;\n(e) other Utah Code provisions not specifically exempted under Subsection 4-21-106(1); and\n(f) audit by the state auditor pursuant to Title 67, Chapter 3, Auditor, and by the legislative auditor pursuant to Section 36-12-15.","path":["Title 4 Utah Agricultural Code","Chapter 4-21 Beef Promotion","Part 4-21-1 Organization"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title4/Chapter21/4-21-S106.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"930f892834bd3f48f559202704d1a5aa8e9d8e7f3ca7fd4ef405a9401155ce04","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-4-21-105","next":"us-ut/utah-code-4-21-107"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
