{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-4-32-113","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 4-32-113","heading":"Preparation and slaughter of livestock, poultry, or livestock and poultry products -- Adulterated or misbranded products -- Violation of rule or order.","body":"(1) An animal or meat or poultry product that may be used for human consumption shall not be:\n(a) slaughtered or prepared unless it is done in compliance with this chapter's requirements;\n(b) sold, transported, offered for sale or transportation, or received for transportation, if it is adulterated or misbranded, unless it has been inspected and approved; or\n(c) subjected to any act while being transported or held for sale after transportation resulting in one of the products becoming adulterated or being misbranded.\n(2) A person may not violate any rule or order of the commissioner under Subsection 4-32-109(4) or (7), or Subsection 4-32-110(3), (5), or (7).","path":["Title 4 Utah Agricultural Code","Chapter 4-32 Utah Meat and Poultry Products Inspection and Licensing Act"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title4/Chapter32/4-32-S113.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"556177a12801dfdd8aa1dd2579c5f0756c0b1e654833cbf1d0f31edb6ef7c7bc","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-4-32-112","next":"us-ut/utah-code-4-32-114"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
