{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-4-38-201","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 4-38-201","heading":"Licenses -- Fees -- Duties of licensees.","body":"(1) The commission may grant, or contract under Subsection 4-38-104(4) for the granting of a license, for participation in racing and other activities associated with a racetrack.\n(2) The commission shall establish a schedule of fees for the application for and renewal and reinstatement of licenses issued under this chapter.\n(3) A person holding a license under this chapter shall comply with this chapter and with the rules issued and the orders issued by the commission under this chapter.\n(4) A person who holds a recognized race meet or who participates directly or indirectly in a recognized race meet without being first licensed as required under this chapter and any person violating this chapter is subject to penalties under Section 4-2-304.","path":["Title 4 Utah Agricultural Code","Chapter 4-38 Utah Horse Regulation Act","Part 4-38-2 Events"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title4/Chapter38/4-38-S201.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"49dbff396ab3193565099e79ca629a1f73f3fcaead26709a8cee6425e7a4a0a2","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-4-38-106","next":"us-ut/utah-code-4-38-202"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
