{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-4-38-402","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 4-38-402","heading":"Horse Racing Account created -- Contents -- Use of account money.","body":"(1) There is created within the General Fund a restricted account known as the Horse Racing Account.\n(2) The Horse Racing Account consists of:\n(a) license fees collected under this chapter;\n(b) revenue from fines imposed under this chapter; and\n(c) interest on account money.\n(3) Upon appropriation by the Legislature, money from the account shall be used for the administration of this chapter, including paying the costs of:\n(a) public liability insurance;\n(b) stewards;\n(c) veterinarians; and\n(d) drug testing.","path":["Title 4 Utah Agricultural Code","Chapter 4-38 Utah Horse Regulation Act","Part 4-38-4 Finances"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title4/Chapter38/4-38-S402.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"fa1e331a73bf6e5e99c42eba2c046b7be7eead4c0be54f7c0a7b18086727c5b3","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-4-38-401","next":"us-ut/utah-code-4-38-501"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
