{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-4-39-106","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 4-39-106","heading":"Department to make rules.","body":"(1) The department shall make rules in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act, after considering the recommendations of the advisory council:\n(a) specifying procedures for the application and renewal of licenses for operating a domesticated elk facility;\n(b) governing the disposal or removal of domesticated elk from a domesticated elk facility for which the license has lapsed or been revoked;\n(c) setting standards and requirements for operating a domesticated elk facility;\n(d) setting health requirements and standards for health inspections; and\n(e) governing the possession, transportation, and accompanying documentation of domesticated elk carcasses.\n(2) The department may make other rules consistent with its responsibilities set forth in Section 4-39-103.","path":["Title 4 Utah Agricultural Code","Chapter 4-39 Domesticated Elk Act","Part 4-39-1 General Provisions"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title4/Chapter39/4-39-S106.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"7dfd27f807338fe0eb773dbc5e55ee8329504b031653319c5a854e04b6514764","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-4-39-105","next":"us-ut/utah-code-4-39-107"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
