{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-4-41a-502","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 4-41a-502","heading":"Cannabis -- Labeling and child-resistant packaging.","body":"(1) For any cannabis that a cannabis cultivation facility cultivates or otherwise produces and subsequently ships to another cannabis production establishment, the facility shall:\n(a) label the cannabis with a label that has a unique batch identification number that is connected to the inventory control system; and\n(b) package the cannabis in a container that is:\n(i) tamper evident; and\n(ii) not appealing to children.\n(2) The department may make rules, in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act, to further define standards regarding containers that may appeal to children under Subsection (1)(b)(ii).","path":["Title 4 Utah Agricultural Code","Chapter 4-41a Cannabis Production Establishments and Pharmacies","Part 4-41a-5 Cannabis Cultivation Facility Operating Requirements"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title4/Chapter41a/4-41a-S502.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"42dfe56b0e85f8b9ec3d01f921f4068d3d08bd43924d5880b62dacda7776ee30","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-4-41a-501","next":"us-ut/utah-code-4-41a-601"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
