{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-4-45a-103","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 4-45a-103","heading":"Applicants.","body":"(1) An applicant for a license shall provide the name and address of any individual who has:\n(a) for a publicly traded company, a financial or voting interest of 10% or greater in the specialized product retailer;\n(b) for a privately held company, a financial or voting interest in the specialized product retailer; or\n(c) the power to direct or cause the management or control of the specialized product retailer.\n(2) The department may not issue a license to an applicant if an individual described in Subsection (1) has been convicted under state or federal law of:\n(a) a felony in the preceding 10 years;\n(b) a crime involving a nicotine containing product; or\n(c) after December 3, 2018, a misdemeanor or felony for drug distribution.","path":["Title 4 Utah Agricultural Code","Chapter 4-45a Specialized Product Regulation"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title4/Chapter45a/4-45a-S103.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"fb68407043b5597a4ca053dae3a7289dd82012657be5caf35ab9c415dabc263f","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-4-45a-102","next":"us-ut/utah-code-4-45a-104"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
