{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-40-11-9","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 40-11-9","heading":"Permit provisions.","body":"(1) A permit shall require that:\n(a) an operator remain in compliance with all of the permit requirements described in Subsection 40-11-6(3); and\n(b) an operator comply with any additional provisions the board imposes.\n(2) The board may make a permit contingent upon:\n(a) the payment of fair compensation to pore space owners who do not consent to the use of the owners' pore space for geologic carbon storage;\n(b) the recording of the permit as described in Section 40-11-12; and\n(c) additional provisions to protect the environment and the property interests of the parties described in Subsection 40-11-7(4).","path":["Title 40 Mines and Mining","Chapter 40-11 Geologic Carbon Storage"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title40/Chapter11/40-11-S9.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"73b85a36b6f4aecf8fa4678d6a7747f9f235dab9181ca0762d526e615c0db24a","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-40-11-8","next":"us-ut/utah-code-40-11-10"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
