{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-40-14-203","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 40-14-203","heading":"Final permit decision by division -- Appeal.","body":"(1)\n(a) The division shall conduct a final technical review and make a final administrative decision for a permit application upon completion of an expedited review.\n(b) To make a final administrative decision on a permit application, the division shall:\n(i) review a preliminary permit decision for the permit application;\n(ii) conduct a final technical review of the permit application; and\n(iii)\n(A) approve the permit application;\n(B) deny the permit application; or\n(C) return the permit application to the applicant with a description of the permit application's deficiencies.\n(2) Except as otherwise provided in this title, a permit applicant may appeal the division's final administrative decision as provided in Section 40-8-13.1.","path":["Title 40 Mines and Mining","Chapter 40-14 Expedited Permit Review","Part 40-14-2 Expedited Permit Review Process"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title40/Chapter14/40-14-S203.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"8798c45bb2e3d54ef1a8b93e2161809487b024773f27875f43c4146128580da1","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-40-14-202","next":"us-ut/utah-code-40-14-204"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
