{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-41-12a-802","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 41-12a-802","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in this part:\n(1) \"Account\" means the Uninsured Motorist Identification Restricted Account created in Section 41-12a-806.\n(2) \"Database\" means the Uninsured Motorist Identification Database created in Section 41-12a-803.\n(3) \"Designated agent\" means the third party the department contracts with under Section 41-12a-803.\n(4) \"Division\" means the Driver License Division created in Section 53-3-103.\n(5)\n(a) \"Motor vehicle\" has the same meaning as set forth in Section 41-1a-102.\n(b) \"Motor vehicle\" includes a street-legal all-terrain vehicle.\n(6) \"Motor Vehicle Division\" means the Motor Vehicle Division of the State Tax Commission created in Section 41-1a-106.\n(7) \"Program\" means the Uninsured Motorist Identification Database Program created in Section 41-12a-803.\n(8) \"Street-legal all-terrain vehicle\" means the same as that term is defined in Section 41-6a-102.","path":["Title 41 Motor Vehicles","Chapter 41-12a Financial Responsibility of Motor Vehicle Owners and Operators Act","Part 41-12a-8 Uninsured Motorist Identification Database Program"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title41/Chapter12a/41-12a-S802.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"30afb2d6e36b59855c2a54d531d73c924972158ab3df5533a7e2bae6259654a1","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-41-12a-801","next":"us-ut/utah-code-41-12a-803"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
