{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-41-1a-1219","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 41-1a-1219","heading":"Motor carrier fee.","body":"(1) At the time application is made for registration or renewal of registration of a motor vehicle or combination of motor vehicles over 14,000 pounds gross combined weight rating, the applicant shall pay a motor carrier fee of $6 for each motor vehicle or combination of motor vehicles.\n(2) This fee is in addition to the registration fees under Subsections 41-1a-1206(1)(d) and (e).\n(3) For a vehicle registered for a 24-month period as provided in Section 41-1a-215.5, the fee amounts under this section are double the amounts due for the same vehicle registered for a 12-month period.","path":["Title 41 Motor Vehicles","Chapter 41-1a Motor Vehicle Act","Part 41-1a-12 Fee and Tax Requirements"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title41/Chapter1a/41-1a-S1219.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"0553140b094d15d2490bfd40c8dfb3212a6db6409118ce8fbb2936eff50faea2","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-41-1a-1218","next":"us-ut/utah-code-41-1a-1220"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
