{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-41-1a-410","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 41-1a-410","heading":"Eligibility for personalized plates.","body":"(1) A person who is the registered owner of a vehicle not subject to registration under Section 41-1a-301, registered with the division, or who applies for an original registration of a vehicle not subject to registration under Section 41-1a-301, may upon payment of the fee prescribed in Section 41-1a-1211 apply to the division for a personalized license plate.\n(2) Application shall be made in accordance with Section 41-1a-411.\n(3) The personalized license plate shall be affixed to the vehicle for which registration is sought in lieu of the regular license plate.\n(4) A personalized license plate shall be issued only to the registered owner of the vehicle on which they are to be displayed.","path":["Title 41 Motor Vehicles","Chapter 41-1a Motor Vehicle Act","Part 41-1a-4 License Plates and Registration Indicia"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title41/Chapter1a/41-1a-S410.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"9cff710b5e33d1e0f075ba75f678a7efe32adb36e0aaf4c5cb71e86274e3d18e","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-41-1a-407","next":"us-ut/utah-code-41-1a-411"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
