{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-41-27-301","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 41-27-301","heading":"Novel vehicle report to Transportation Interim Committee.","body":"(1) The commission shall, at or before the October interim meeting of the Transportation Interim Committee, present a report on novel vehicle registrations that includes:\n(a) the number of vehicles registered as novel vehicles; and\n(b) a description of the vehicles registered as novel vehicles.\n(2) The Transportation Interim Committee shall review the report described in Subsection (1) and determine whether to propose legislation relating to registration of a particular type of novel vehicle.\n(3) A vehicle previously registered as a novel vehicle shall continue to be registered as a novel vehicle, unless the Legislature amends the Utah Code to:\n(a) require the vehicle to be registered otherwise; or\n(b) exempt the vehicle from registration.","path":["Title 41 Motor Vehicles","Chapter 41-27 Novel Vehicle Registration","Part 41-27-3 Commission Reporting"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title41/Chapter27/41-27-S301.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"a740c1eeb0286d70f943ce5217e11ccb7d3e900727c929c3b92c433526e6b16a","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-41-27-202","next":"us-ut/utah-code-42-1-1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
