{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-41-6a-1107","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 41-6a-1107","heading":"Bicycles -- Parking on sidewalk, roadway -- Prohibitions.","body":"(1) A person may park a bicycle on a sidewalk unless prohibited or restricted by a traffic-control device.\n(2) A bicycle parked on a sidewalk may not impede the normal and reasonable movement of pedestrian or other traffic.\n(3) A bicycle may be parked on the roadway at any location where parking is allowed:\n(a) at any angle to the curb or edge of the roadway; and\n(b) abreast of another bicycle or bicycles near the side of the roadway.\n(4) A bicycle may not be parked on a roadway in a manner as to obstruct the movement of a legally parked motor vehicle.\n(5) In all other respects, bicycles parked anywhere on a highway shall conform with the provisions of Part 14, Stopping, Standing, and Parking, regarding the parking of vehicles.","path":["Title 41 Motor Vehicles","Chapter 41-6a Traffic Code","Part 41-6a-11 Bicycles and Other Vehicles, Regulation of Operation"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title41/Chapter6a/41-6a-S1107.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"074593bc88bdcfd99072c601d08f6bf1462e84d6718dddfb5d283bff321718f3","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-41-6a-1106","next":"us-ut/utah-code-41-6a-1108"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
