{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-48-1d-1211","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 48-1d-1211","heading":"Withdrawal of registration of registered foreign limited liability partnership.","body":"(1) A registered foreign limited liability partnership may withdraw its registration by delivering a statement of withdrawal to the division for filing. The statement of withdrawal must state:\n(a) the name of the foreign limited liability partnership and the jurisdiction in which the foreign limited liability partnership's statement of qualification or equivalent filing is filed;\n(b) that the foreign limited liability partnership is not doing business in this state and that it withdraws its registration to do business in this state;\n(c) that the foreign limited liability partnership revokes the authority of its registered agent to accept service on its behalf in this state; and\n(d) an address to which service of process may be made under Subsection (2).\n(2) After the withdrawal of the registration of a foreign limited liability partnership, service of process in any action or proceeding based on a cause of action arising during the time the foreign limited liability partnership was registered to do business in this state may be made pursuant to Subsection 16-17-301(2).","path":["Title 48 Unincorporated Business Entity Act","Chapter 48-1d Utah Uniform Partnership Act","Part 48-1d-12 Foreign Limited Liability Partnerships"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title48/Chapter1d/48-1d-S1211.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"d3c31ec95febd2fa426169abd46ecb6fa2cf80a217439b0762ad8f60e0381faf","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-48-1d-1210","next":"us-ut/utah-code-48-1d-1212"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
